I watched this short doc on the Norseman Triathlon while on the treadmill this morning. The manner in which this race finishes is so special. And crazy. These athletes are incredible and it was inspiring to hear their stories. I need some more docs like this for my morning sessions. Any recommendations?

With the first week of the new year behind us, does anyone have any resolutions they are implementing? How's it going so far? I have a goal to maintain the muscle mass that I've worked on building last year while in a calorie deficit. So far so good, but getting in that protein is always challenging for me.

I ordered these about a month and a half ago. Adjustable leg/wrist weights. I wear them for just about every workout usually around the 5-7.5lb weight. When I go hiking or walk to work I'll beef them up to the 10lb weight. I also like to do sit ups with them on my wrists, holding 5lb plates and do a 'wolverine claw' sort of move. You don't have to go hard every day. But sometimes, you have to go as hard as you can. That doesn't mean you need fancy equipment or a complicated workout plan. The "fun" way to do it is with intervals; and if you can rotate between types of exercise, but still maintain a high intensity, it will feel like a game you play against yourself.
