The Final numbers for the 2024 Sault College Deer Check Station! Total Deer: 104 Adult Bucks: 72 Adult Does: 20 Fawns: 12 Biggest Buck held strong at 211.5lbs from the Island. Biggest Doe: 141 lbs Biggest Fawn: 72 lbs Most points on an Adult Buck Rack: 11 Points Majority of deer were between the ages of 1.5- 3.5 years of age that came into the station 🦌

Anyone else remember the ‘good old days’ when going out to eat was a real treat? Mmmm whether it was a Lornie burger (extra ketchup please), fresh cut fries and a milkshake at Lornie’s or the Dinner Special at the Sportman’s - you left not only full of food, but also full of all the interactions with all the others dining out there too that day. I hope this space brings that feeling back - of an extended, not always related family, happy to hear
