I am happy to be part of the hosting team for the Newcomer Space!! After studying abroad and working abroad I came to realize that living abroad is WAY more difficult than most people think. Let's support each other - one can rarely see from the outside what someone is going through on the inside. Peace! Quick facts: - born in SSM - has a cat named Cooper who hangs around the iCA office - rides a motorcycle and is learning how to sail - …

Hiked Robertson Cliffs two weeks ago and I think it was the perfect timing before the end of fall, which I think is inching closer by the day 🥺 This was such a gorgeous view, as someone who’s never really experienced fall before, seeing so much beauty was overwhelming!! Can’t wait to go next year, albeit once I’m a bit more fit— the extra strength is necessary to enjoy the hike up hill!

Winter Preparation Information Session was well received last night by our newcomer attendees. Present were persons from Nigeria, Dominica, Trinidad and Tobago, Brazil and Jamaica. Our presenter Liz speared no details as she told the attendee about the cold and how they should prepare for it properly. Proper clothing and footwear goes a long way ! Thank you Liz

We all answer the same ( in different languages of course lol )..." for our kids/family". See some of us came from places where our degrees …

Post from NOLHA's FB page. In Brazil, a fascinating country, over 213 million people live together, forming a true cultural mosaic. This nation is a rich blend of Indigenous, African, European, Asian, and Middle Eastern influences, intertwining to create a unique identity. On every corner, you can find a new story; on every plate, an irresistible fusion of flavors. This diversity not only enriches the local culture but also teaches everyone …
