What do you AVOID doing?
Entrepreneurs are good at doing hard things...but not always doing the things that matter.
For example, it's no problem for a founder to work a 13-hour day in their business. Most people woudl say that's "hard" - but owners do it all the time.
It's no problem to get up early and work on our business - I'm writing this at 4:55am. That's 'hard' for most people, and the norm for many of us.
But these are the "easy-hard" …

As someone who lives downtown, it’s sad and frustrating that these are the typical hours for most Queen St. businesses. Not only closed on weekends but after normal office hours as well. Many places can’t be visited unless you take time off from your 9-5.
Has it always been like this? A plaza can only do so much if there’s not much else to do. I think the market is down to one day a week as well?

When most entrepreneurs get their business running smoothly, they turn their eyes to the next thing: the next level, the next opportunity, the next location, or the next big idea.

Great news for Canadian small businesses!
Last week, the Federal Minister of Small Business (Rechie Valdez) announced that the government's agreement with Visa and Mastercard to lower your credit card interchange fees by up to 27% will take effect on Oct 19th, 2024.
