What We Miss
We rush past beauty every day — a bloom, a color, a moment. Nature doesn’t shout; it whispers. Slow down. Look closer. This is what we miss.

Hope this is right place to ask, sorry if it isn't.
What is best weed killer available, for backyard, where had put down landscape fabric and river rock, and weeds growing through? I know there are rules/laws banning the stronger stuff used in other places.

UPDATE!
After weeks and weeks of nothing, I'm finally seeing a few small milkweed plants poking through the dirt. I was losing all hope until we started to get all that sunshine and it seems that's what they were waiting for! 🥰

DAY 1 - sowed the milkweed seeds today after they spent a few weeks in a damp paper towel in my fridge. They can take anywhere from 10 to 15 days to start germinating, so fingers crossed I get some plants in a few weeks and I can update with some photos 😊 they will live in my kitchen window sill so they can recieve the most amount of sunlight.

I've been wanting to create a butterfly garden full of milkweed in my yard and have had a few unsuccessful attempts over the years. Putting seeds given to me from someone's plants straight into the ground did not work. Tried to transplant existing plants and that also did not work. I now have packaged seeds in wet paper towels getting stratified in my fridge. I've learned I need to do this for several weeks before starting the plants indoors. …

We have a big beautiful apple tree in our back yard that yields more apples than we know what to do with every year. The problem is that 80% of them are ruined by bugs. Does anyone have any advice or seen solutions that work? We would love to be able to use and share our apples, instead of sending them to the curb in yardbags.
Thanks!
