I've been wanting to create a butterfly garden full of milkweed in my yard and have had a few unsuccessful attempts over the years. Putting seeds given to me from someone's plants straight into the ground did not work. Tried to transplant existing plants and that also did not work. I now have packaged seeds in wet paper towels getting stratified in my fridge. I've learned I need to do this for several weeks before starting the plants indoors. I'll update once I have them planted! Curious if anyone has a success story about growing milkweed.
