Zone 3 training is great if you're going to run a 5k (or longer), and want to build the endurance to do it.
You won't use as much fat for fuel as you would at lower intensities, but exercising at 70-80% of your max heart rate has a ton of other values.
When we get stressed at work, it's like a cardiovascular test. Zone 3 training helps us prepare for that test, too.
