Yesterday, I shared an overview of how to exercise using your heart rate as a guide.
We break training into "blocks" to maximize results. But not all exercise has to make you sweaty, or wear you out, or put you into uncomfortable places. Zone 1 is the "flow zone", where you're really just moving to free your mind. This is where you feel "in the zone" - you're not burning many calories, but you ARE feeling great.
