I hate getting political, but I spent the better part of today ( realistically the past few months) listening to CBC news, talking about trade (or what Mr. Trump wants, no trade whatsoever, with the rest of the world). So please consider your next bicycle, or component, purchase. Think about Rocky Mountain, from BC, that is currently in receivership, compared to US companies such as Specialized, Trek, SRAM, etc., who dominate the market. Think Canadian, (or just about any other country). We all have spent Canadian dollars for bikes or group sets, from firms south of the border. Think about your next purchase and maybe Rocky Mountain will climb out of that valley, Argon 18 rocket to the front, Marinoni flourish as only the Quebecois can, , Aquila ascent, Naked Cycles get a new wardrobe, Bridge build bigger and better bridges, DeKerf turf out the riffraff and Cervelo come back home....and so many more !
Personally, my buying habits have changed radically in the past few weeks, for literally everything. (Have you tried to buy Canadian groceries ? I find very few purely Canadian products in grocery stores) Therefore, let's look at everything that way and maybe things will change permanently for the better !
