Fort Creek Escapade I rode my winter commuter to the Salvation Army on John Street and decided to try and ride the Hub Trail back which takes you trough Fort Creek. I ride a 2.6 inch studded tire and easily navigated the relatively well maintained part along Carmen’s Way to the trail head. It’s was quickly obvious from the full parking lot that a lot of people go there to walk many with dogs. The parking lot is cleared of snow and ironically the snow is pushed to the entrance of the trail forcing users to climb over it. One wonders the logic here to clear a parking lot so people can go for a walk than block the entrance to the trail whit a huge pile of snow. To be continued….
