LOCAL SERVICES BOARD OF SEARCHMONT AND AREA Budget Meeting – December 4th, 2024
The Annual Budget Meeting for the inhabitants of Searchmont and Area to vote on the fiscal year budget for 2025 will be held on December 4th, 2024, at 7:00pm at the Searchmont Community Centre.
Your support and input in the budgetary process are welcome. We value your participation and your vote to pass a budget that will allow the Searchmont LSB to continue operating in the next fiscal year.
Items included in this year’s budget include continued support for the Fire Department. Funding is required so that the Department can meet its certified training requirements in respect of responses to emergencies in the community and to meet its mutual aid agreements with neighbouring fire departments.
The proposed budget also includes funding for ongoing operations of the Community Centre, including public access and the ability to rent facilities for private functions.
