About the Film:
This is it, horror fans—The Reel Film Forum is bringing Fright Night (1985) back to the big screen for its 40th anniversary! Before Scream deconstructed horror and Buffy gave us teen vampire slayers, Fright Night sunk its fangs into the genre with the perfect blend of horror, humour, and 80s nostalgia.
Tom Holland’s cult classic follows Charley Brewster, a horror-obsessed teen who suspects his suave new neighbour (Chris Sarandon) is a vampire. With no one believing him, Charley turns to washed-up TV horror host Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall) for help. The result? A thrilling, effects-driven battle between good and evil that’s as fun as it is frightening.
It’s got a killer 80s synth score, neon-lit cinematography, and that perfect mix of camp. Don’t miss your chance to experience Fright Night how it was meant to be seen—on the big screen, in the dark, with an audience of fellow horror lovers.

🎥 Special Surprise: We’ve got a pre-show video message lined up from someone who had a very important role in bringing Fright Night to life. 👀

🎁 Door Prize: One lucky guest will take home a signed photo of Stephen Geoffreys, who gave us the unforgettable “Evil Ed” Thompson. "You’re so cool, Brewster!"
