Join us at the Sault Museum for these fun March Break activities on March 11th, 13th and 14th! Activities are included in the Cultural Corridor Pass or $10 per child, per activity!
Cardboard Loom Weaving
Date: Tuesday March 11th, 2025
Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm
Join the Sault Ste. Marie Museum this March Break and make woven art using a cardboard loom! Children will be guided through the process of weaving on a circular loom. This event is recommended for ages 6 and up. Programming will begin at 1:00pm, this event is included in the Cultural Corridor Pass or $10 per child at the door.
Pirate Treasure Hunt
Date: Thursday, March 13th 2025
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Shwashbuckle your way through the Sault Museum on Thursday March 13th from 10:00am – 12:00pm at our Pirate Treasure Hunt! Children will discover the museum while looking for clues that lead to a pirate treasure chest, parents are able to enter in a draw to win an additional prize box! This event is included in the Cultural Corridor Pass, or $10 per child at the door.
Ice Cream Science!
Date: Friday March 14th 2025
Time: 1:30 pm– 3:00pm
Ever wondered how ice cream used to be made before freezers? Join the Sault Ste. Marie Museum and learn how to make ice cream the old fashioned way! Participants will get the chance to make their own ice cream and have it in a sundae once it has been prepared, all while learning about history and science. This event is included in the Cultural Corridor Pass, or $10 per child at the door.
