It could take a few weeks for them to adjust. Going on walks or playing outside is a good way to let them burn off energy together outside of 'home territory'. Always support any good signs they are happy or relaxed near eachother and set boundaries to minimize potential stressors - feed them apart - have their own toys/beds - if the puppy is being a bother give them a bit of time from eachother instead of punishing behaviors.
If things continue

Thank you! You mentioned things I hadn't thought about (outdoor socialization for one) so thank you for taking the time!
Our newest family member, Coco is a 14-15 wk old border collie/ Aussie Shepherd mix.
It's been over 12 years since we've had a puppy in the house. Our current fur baby, Gibbles just turned a dozen human years old and is not impressed with puppy energy.
Any tips on helping to smooth out their 'relationship'?
