Obi-Wan Katnobi ♡ he is a bengal/maincoon and 8 years old! I originally had gone to meet his littermate but wound up loving him as well and the two were so bonded since they were born it was impossible to separate them, so we had him and his brother I'd named Kaiser Wilhelm Von Pußen ♡ unfortunately, a year ago last September Wilhelm had gotten suddenly ill and passed an hour before our vet opened ( indoor, neutered and had all shots and both have to eat special food so it made no sense ). Fortunately we still have our sucky Obi ! He lost the ability to walk last year suddenly and we didn't know what happened. We took him to the vet who said nobody would want a cat that couldn't walk, said we'd have to travel down south to have any exams done and wanted us to say goodbye but we refused and ended up opting to massage and use physiotherapy and sure enough he started to walk again but with an altered gait. We were blessed when one of MY physicians, Dr Shamess, offered to examine our cat and for free ! He said he believed he must have taken a fall and that the methods we'd been using we should stick to and the steroids the vet gave were not something we'd need as he wasn't sick. He was right and Obi can walk again ! I showed him a recent photo and he believes he'd injured his spine and gave me further suggestions to use during his stretches to help correct his spine because he is the most kind hearted doctor ever ! Thanks to him, our boy is almost as good as new and a happy healthy guy!
