Arwen ( long hair ) and her littermate Mena ( short hair ) are 7 year old sisters. An acquaintance said a friend had kittens born in their garage and asked Id be willing to take them. Despite at that time saying we weren't taking in any more pets, we couldn't refuse and one day two strangers brought some of the sweetest kittens I'd ever seen to my place . Originally I'd tried to find them homes as we normally do once we take care of critters, but both of them refused anyone they met and ran to my lap so it was decided they would be family and were taken to meet our vets . Arwen looks huge but actually weighs less than her sister and is purely fluff ( the two boys I'd mentioned before are 15 and 30 lbs, these girls are 7 ) Arwen is afraid of everything but an amazing hunter, bugs don't stand a chance. Mena is tough as nails yet one of the most loving kitties in the world when she wants to be ( we call her the feline embodiment of love itself) excuse the clutter, we also have a 5 year old lol
