Sorry for your sink issue. Forgive me me as I mean no ill will, but seeing you have the issue, makes me feel less bad when it happens to me, only because I envy you, just assume you, and a lot of other super handy people, are the guy (or gals in other cases) that can handle anything, only by nature of your business in your case as assume you have seen and heard it all type of thing. Hope you get it all cleared up soon though.

When Ibthink about what i have done, in last few years, it actually shocks me.
New pine ceiling in half of basement, new vynalnflooring in basemnet, replacing carpet, painting obviously.
Now replacing upstairs carpet with hardwood.
Did whole backyard in gravel, wheel barrel by wheel barrel.
Yet i still feel like such a novice, as make mistakes and try and lesrn from them

Eric, definitely don't be afraid to give things a try. Start small, Google, ask friends or coworkers, ask at home improvement stores.
I take a little from most of those resources, then, I worry and stress :)
Eventually, I just want to please my wife, so I just get started and do the best I can. I am 59 years old and really don't care what others think (if they think whatever I did looks 'amateurish' and not professional but actually I don't do
I hope you're weekend has been better than mine. I've been fighting with a kitchen sink that started running slow and then, not at all. I've tried drain cleaner, a plunger, and a wire snake. So far the wire snake has been most effective in restoring some flow, but it's still running slow. Moral of the story is to be very careful of what you allow down the drain. Grease and fat should never be poured down the drain. Wish me luck!
