When trying to exit north from Fort Creek onto Third Line you come to a huge snowbank and cross Third Line, jump another snow bank to the plowed sidewalk on the North side. From there it’s easy to get to GNR where you have to cross again to the south side of the road where the Hub Trail is very well maintained all the way to Black Road. To me it would make more sense to maintain the Hub Trail along the south side of Third Line eliminating the need to jump huge snow banks and cross a busy road twice. This would create a very viable year round active transportation corridor and easily connect to the trail system at Hiawatha via the new link currently being built through Wishart Park. Cross your fingers.
