.......A TRIBUTE TO JOHN AND ELAINE DIMICHELE.......

John passed away suddenly Jan 26, 2025 and Elaine passed away on Sunday Mar 16, 2025 shocking the local classic car community. John and Elaine were classic car enthusiasts their entire lives. Johnny was one of the
most competitive drag racers of the 1970s at the local 5th Line Drag Strip. John's first car, the one that he would race was a 1971 Green Dodge Demon with a 340 Engine. Eventually he would sell the car and take a hiatus from the car scene to devote time to family matters. Fast forward to their retirement years, Classic Cars would once again become a part of their lives. They had a deep passion for their first first car, the 1971 Dodge Demon, a car that was a big part of their lives in the early years of their relationship. So much so that during their retirement they searched with hope to find and buy back their first car or find an identical one. The search was not successful because of their rarity and because of Johnny's high standards but they did own several outstanding cars like the 2005 Mustang GT, the 32 Ford Roadster and the most recent, the 1974 Cuda, a spectacular classic that won many trophies in the local car shows.
