Happy New Year! Can you guess where I'm shooting?

I'm feeling lucky to launch some arrows with no toque, no gloves today. Even stripped the sweater and long sleeves after a bit.

Got me thinking of watching my feathered arrows drill a tunnel through the torrential rain at Nationals in Amos, QC (2009 I think?); of snowshoeing and shooting the field archery trail in March; of provincial matches nearly getting cancelled due to sweltering heat & tales of bows delaminating in the humidity; of stepping off the game trail while hunting in northern QC and sinking up to my armpits in snow 😆

(The equipment is tougher than the archer sometimes!)

What kind of weather have you encountered on the range or in the field?

Where are some good places in the Sault to learn how to shoot?

Hi Brandon! My wife Lana Perry & I run Arrows In Motion. We offer lessons at Algoma Rod & Gun Club mostly, and some at Sault North Archery Club in the warmer months. We do group classes and private sessions.

Also, if you're a member at either club you'll find plenty of folks eager to help.

Just to follow up here, Brandon, we have a Try Archery night scheduled for March 6th. Let me know if that will be a good fit for you :)
