🥟🥢 When there’s time (ha ha) I like to make a big batch of dumplings and freeze em for later. I used Food & Drink’s dumpling recipe, below. ‘slaw steps linked in comments.

🥘 Portuguese Arroz de Galinha a.k.a. a tasty way to use up random things in your fridge. If you’ve got leftover rotisserie chicken, a pepper buried at the back of your crisper and some broth, this recipe is a good option.

🤔 had no clue what to do with pistachio pesto (with fish, roasted veggies, on a sandwich or cold pasta salad, maybe?)… Discovered it’s also tasty as a pizza sauce with asparagus, eggplant, ricotta and mozzarella…

Warm potato and brussel sprout salad with bacon (and a ton of fresh herbs and micro greens). Dressed with pesto and fresh lemon juice. SO. DARN. GOOD.

While I was busy working my daughter decided to make dinner for us. Dinner was a cheesy lemon pepper garlic pasta. It was incredible! I am one proud mama!

So, I love to see all these great dishes posted, ... they look so good. But, while I am pretty sure we are all great cooks, I suspect some of the photos. So my "integrity question of the day" is, are the photos you post the actual meal YOU made, or is it as "copy and paste" from the recipe site? Curious minds want to know.

🍜 easy peasy noodle bowl that’s really tasty. I used the recipe linked, left out soy sauce and used 1/2 sesame oil and 1/2 vegetable oil. Hope everyone has a nice dinner lined up tonight 😁

🫘 It’s bean good. Maria Arangio’s (Barrie’s what’s for dinner host) cannellini bean stew is 10/10…

These are white cannellini beans. So creamy, so easy, inexpensive and full of flavour. Sauté your soffritto (diced carrots, celery and onion), some diced mushroom (optional), salt, pepper and Italian seasoning til tender, then add minced garlic til fragrant, add about 3 cups of broth, I used beef, you can keep it vegan with veggie broth, add 1 can rinsed beans, cook for about 15 minutes. Blend a wee bit with an immersion blender (not too much,

🥘 chicken tikka masala - but with a pre-mixed spice blend. (and I don’t know who needs to hear this, but cilantro stays happy much longer in a jar with some water and a plastic bag over top.)
