I love french onion soup! I like both croutons and a crusty bread of some kind. The only thing I dislike is caramelizing the onions; so time consuming to do it "properly" and then my whole house smells like onions haha. If anyone has tips for caramelizing I would love to hear them. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong!
First time making onion soup tonight. It was super easy. My Dad use to make it all the time. I glad I kept his bowls to use tonight. Turned out pretty good. Do you use toast or croutons?
