Went for a hike along the Root River at wishart Park with Bob McGauley this afternoon. I wasn't sure what I'd see so I packed up my D850, 70-200mm lens with 3 stop ND filter, tripod and cable release. Set the ISO to 64 and the aperture to f22 which gave me amazingly slow shuttter speeds in the early afternoon. Below are some of the results.

The Full Beaver Moon Seen from Topsail Island in Bellevue Park Sault Ste. Marie Ontario.
The moon is full this morning Friday November 15th. 2024.It is known as the Beaver Moon as this is the time of year when beavers begin to take shelter in their lodges, having laid up sufficient food stores for the long winter ahead. It is also the last super moon of 2024. (4 photos)
