Greetings, fellow photogs!
The photography theme for June 16 to June 29 is: Movement
Reminder: This space is open to all photography styles/genres. Please keep it family-friendly, however.
You're welcome to share previous work, or create something new. Adhering to the theme is not necessary, but we're excited to see what everyone shares! Happy shooting!

A few of my favourite photos from the Queen Street Cruise, this M4 CSL caught my eye.

I'm not one to convert digital photos to black and white, I much prefer to shoot it that way on film... but I thought the golden light and haze during tonight's Jubilance 2025 procession of Catholics in the city lended itself well to monochrome. Watch for the full gallery to be posted (in colour) later on SooToday.

A sign of the times — From a 10-year-old Facebook memory of a trip across the river. Despite the sign, there was no film for sale in the souvenir shop. About two years ago, the Last time I went over, this sign was gone.

Movement theme. Taken at underground venue, the Distraction. The band is Balm Squad

I didn’t submit anything for the shadows theme, so here’s one with movement and shadows. The big lit wall at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto is overused as a photo backdrop, but also kind of hard to resist. Holga camera and black and white film.

An audience member stepped up to sing with Beaver Slap (best all-girl punk band name ever, by the way) a few years back during Oh!No! Fest at the Church of Robbie. This image pretty much sums up the festival's vibe.

I'm excited to be part of a local photography community.
I hope toy photography is okay. 😊
