I majored in Mathematics with a minor in Physics at the University of Waterloo and have a degree in Mathematics. I worked in the Information Services Department at Algoma Steel for 33 years as a Technical Specialist, as an Assistant to the Manager, as an Area Supervisor and Project Supervisor. I retired in 2004. When I was 10 years old (1957) I found a Kodak Hawkeye Brownie Camera in a junk pile and a hobby in black & white photography began. Until colour came along I took and developed my own photos. During High School I graduated to 35mm and remained with film cameras until the 1990’s when I bought my first digital camera a Kodak Easyshare point and shoot followed by several Nikon DSLR cameras starting with the D90, D600, D610 and now the D750.
