Did short hike on Wednesday last into Jones Landing and climbed the point where some Nikon Moments were captured.

(First Post of June 27th 2025 - 4 Photos) - The Sky After Sunset Seen Wednesday June 25th, 2025 from the Horseshoe Bay Subdivision.
On a very clear night last Wednesday June 25th, 2025, I headed to the beach at about 2:00am and caught the sky full of stars including the Milky Way. Camera settings were: Aperture at f:3.2, Shutter Speed at 20 Seconds, and ISO at 3200.

(Third Post of June 26th 2025 - 4 Photo) - At Sunset Time over Batchawana Bay Seen Thursday June 26th, 2025 from Havilland Shores Drive.
The calm before the storm. Some rain was falling when I was out getting these photos and more is forecasted overnight. Cloudy skies meant no colour so I made lemonade using colour in the surroundings.

Despite a rain event that was in progress this morning I headed to the Boardwalk of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario this morning and shot a few photos of some views that caught my eye.

(Third Post of June 25th 2025 - 4 Photo) - Around the Dock at First Light Seen Wednesday June 25th, 2025 at Havilland Bay. A view of Havilland Bay just as the sky was being lit by the slowly rising sun. The dock provided the perfect focal subject.

(Second Post of June 25th 2025 - 4 Photos) - Views of Robertson Lake Seen Beyond the Robertson Cliffs on Tuesday June 24th, 2025. Last night before sunset I drove the Robertson Lake Road to the end and from there walked to the shore and took photos of the lit hills.

(Third Post of June 24th 2025 - 4 Photo) - The Sunset from the Beach at Harmony Bay Seen Tuesday June 24th, 2025. A partly cloudy day with fog patches over Lake Superior was the weather condition today Tuesday June 24th, 2025 which ended with a nice sunset at Harmony spent with local residents one of whom is leaving this week so goodbyes were exchanged.

(First Post of June 24th 2025 - 4 Photos) - First Light and Dawn at Havilland Bay on Tuesday June 24th, 2025 40km North of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. I made the trip back to Havilland Bay a bit earlier this morning Tuesday June 24th, 2025 in order to catch the first light of the day followed by the full-blown dawn. The scene was stunning at the mouth of the Stokely River.

(Third Post of June 23rd 2025 - 4 Photo) - The Sunset from the Horseshoe Bay Subdivision Seen Tuesday June 23rd, 2025. The heat wave continued through most of the day but late in the afternoon a storm cell passed over bringing some heavy rain and a lot of lightning and thunder. Fog moved in at sunset time.

Some Night Time Exposures June 23rd from the Havilland Shores Drive 40km North of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario.
Just after midnight the sky cleared off for awhile and I took the opportunity to hone some time exposures skills. Yes, still working on perfection. LOL.

(Third Post of June 22nd 2025 - 4 Photo) - The Sunset from the Beach at Harmony Seen Sunday June 22nd, 2025. A very warm day drew many people to local beaches including Harmony but as temperatures cooled off folks left and sunset pictures became possible.

St. Lawrence II out of Kingston. 72 feet long, two masted tall sailing vessel with 6 sails in total. (Sail Training Vessel). Designed in 1953 and very rare to see it here. Look it up on the web.

BRIDGE THEME: Took this a few years back on my first (and so far, only) attempt to photograph star trails. I soon realized that there was too much light pollution to make this successful, but I still don't hate how this turned out. This is a 15-minute exposure. I was in a far more remote and dark location previous to this, but I heard noises in the bush and left before I got attacked by a bear or serial killer. LOL
