Ollie the crested gecko and I welcome everyone new to the coolest Pets and Animals Space! My name is Cassandra. I am a flora/fauna artist and a small hobby breeder of geckos. I have experience with many pet types as well as taken numerous local flora/fauna courses. This space is for all species and breeds, to share our love and knowledge.

We recently adopted a Roomba. After about a week acclimation it looks the others are slowly accepting the new addition! Artemis was caught snuggling with Roomba the other day.

Do you want potentially free pet that is free to feed and free to house as long as you have a plastic bin? Bonus that their poop is plant fertilizer! Isopods are tiny land crustaceans that you can find almost anywhere and eat almost anything. If you do spend some money you can get them coloured like dairy cows, rubber duckies, zebras or magic potions. I just don't think there is a downside here!

☀️Temperatures are rising!🌡️ Just like us, your pets can feel effects from too much exposure. Prevention is always the best method but knowing the signs of heat stress can save an animals life! Remember it can take as little as a few minutes to go from normal to dangerous body temperatures.

Dogs and cats coats may change colour as they get older but do you know some pets patterns will even change? And no I am not talking about chameleons! Some patterns may disappear like the stripes of a baby leopard gecko change to spots. And some patterns grow like the white patterns of some crested geckos. Yes these photos are of the same gecko just a few months apart! 🤯 🤔 Do you have a pet that changed from when they were a baby?
