On this Remembrance Day we as Canadians honor those fallen heroes of all World Wars/conflicts around the world. I particular, my father, James Mackan, who as young man of 20 years, fought gallantly and with courage overseas during WW2. With the grace of God, he returned to begin a family and a lasting legacy.
For those veterans who struggle with lasting emotional scars, we give our support and pray for peace, that you will find solace in family and friends.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
