We are planning some backyard changes and we'd like to plant a tree. We have a small-ish property downtown and we would like a tree native to the area that will grow tall, not wide. It will get sun about 3/4 of the day. Something that grows pretty quick is a plus 😊
We are generally excluding evergreens but I do really like white pines. Otherwise, we considered sugar maple and paper birch.
