I had the opportunity yesterday to see this Spotted Towhee that is visiting a private feeder this winter on St. Joseph Island. This is only the third time one has ever been documented in the Algoma District and approximately the 39th time one has been documented in Ontario. Spotted Towhees are typically found on the western half of the continent.
