CLASSIC REWIND........... How rare are the 1967 Black Panther Camaros? It's safe to say they are so rare they can be placed on the endangered list. Gorrie's Chevrolet produced 50 and sources say there are only 3 to be in existance today. "Panther" was the codename for the Camaro project. The codename 'Panther was too good to ignore so Gorrie's created the special edition that would be called The "Black Panther". The late Bobby Simonen, a highly respected local classic car enthusiast, was one of the fortunate few to have owned one.
